Welcome to Rapture Nineteen years after Jack left Rapture silent and dead…no dormant. Now Rapture had been awakening, rebuilt into the fine city it once was, the fine city it never could be before under Ryan’s watch…or so the people of Rapture think. Despite law, despite order, despite a mans belief that he has purged Rapture of its sickness it still suffers. The darkness still outdoes the light, and morals are still lost in the view of a microscope.
Walk the city of Rapture and survive its new nightmares, its new challenges, and its new citizens. Rapture may be reformed but it is not a place free of peril. Those who thought themselves free from Rapture find that they pull of the city calls them home, weather they wanted to go or not. Science knows no boundaries, men know no gods.
Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow? No, says the man in Washington. It belongs to the poor. No, says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to God. No, says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone. I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose----- Rapture. A city where the artist would not fear the censor. Where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality. Where the great would not be constrained by the small. And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well. - Andrew Ryan
